November Wrap-Up (2017)

November was definitely a pick up compared to the last couple of months. I did read/listen to a decent amount of audiobooks which does help. But I have no idea how I read so much. And it was a fairly good month for quality of books, too. I only DNF'd one book.

And in personal news, I started a new job this month. My first day was the Monday before Thanskgiving. It's definitely been a little overwhelming, but I'm grateful for the opportunity. And I know it will get easier.

I don't think I'll have any issues completing my GoodReads goal this year. And I'm definitely excited about reading more books going into December.

November Wrap-Up (2016)

November really flew by. Actually, I don't remember much of the month. I had a long weekend over the Thanksgiving holiday, but barely read. It was also my sister's birthday so I spent a lot of time with my family.

But even with all that I was able to read nine books. So, that was great. I'm almost on track with my Goodreads challenge, but who knows if they counted re-reads I would be fine.

November Wrap-Up (2015)

This felt like a good reading month. Lorraine Heath and Kristin Calihan both had new releases I was very excited about. And they did not let me down.

I also started forcing myself to read some books I was avoiding. Generally, I’m glad I did. I’m really enjoying the Hex Hall trilogy by Rachel Hawkins. And I’ve been re-reading Persuasion.

Toward the end of the month my reading slowed down. This was partially on purpose because I needed to focus on other things in my life. But also I was reading The Coldest Girl in Coldtown which was a very slow read for me.

December will probably be another busy month so I don’t know how my reading will go. I do want to try to read some holiday books.
