Review

***I received this book via NetGalley from the publisher in exchange for an honest review***

This is my second Amish romance-if you have any recommendations let me know. It was a fast read with compelling characters. The suspense element was suspenseful and gave me that nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach. But the romance felt a little underdeveloped which I think is one of the reasons I usually avoid romantic suspense. I never really felt the love between Lizzy and Isaac-I was just told they fell in love with each other. I did feel/buy the friendship connection between them. Maybe if they had more on-page conversations not related to the murder, it would've been more believable. I would be willing to read another book by Ms. Lynn when I'm in a romantic suspense mood.

Thanks for reading!
Holly
